Camp Mariposa

WHERE KIDS TRANSFORM

Camp Mariposa New Hampshire is a free, weekend camp, run by Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua, for children ages 9-12 and now open to Teens ages 13-17 who are affected by the substance use disorder of a loved one. Youth attend camp four to six times a year and participate in fun, traditional camp activities along with education and support exercises to learn critical life skills and self-care.

SADD

SADD is a nationally recognized organization with a mission to empower young people to successfully confront the risks and pressures that challenge them throughout their daily lives. The mission is accomplished by creating, equipping, and sustaining a network of student-run chapters in schools and communities focused on peer-to-peer education. SADD fosters a sense of belonging and promotes resiliency, leadership, and advocacy skills so that young people make positive life decisions that will carry them throughout life.

Nashua Prevention Coalition supports numerous Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) Clubs throughout Nashua.  These clubs work within their schools and throughout the community to educate their peers and build awareness around destructive decisions.  They also participate in numerous Nashua Prevention Coalition campaigns and programs.

Do you have youth invested in educating their peers and being engaged in their community? Contact us today about starting a SADD Group at your organization or just having youth get involved with our work.
